Pear ‘Li’ Mountain area is in both the Jade Mountain Range and Da Yu Ling Range. Li Shan is a resort area famous for its peach, apple, pear & tea orchards. The area’s very high altitude is native to Taiwan’s primitive forests. This tea grows even in the snow with great variations between morning and evening temperatures. During spring and summer, the mountains are covered with fog. The growing season is short, producing a thicker leaf. It is grown from a ‘Soft Branch’ tea tree cultivar known by its original Taiwan tea botanists as No. 17.
BREWING INSTRUCTION:
1. After heating the teapot, put about one-fifth of the tea leaves into the pot.
2. Pour boiling water at 212°F into the teapot, then immediately pour it out.
3. Steep the tea for about 50-60 seconds for the second and third steep, and about 1.5 minutes for the fourth to sixth steep. The steeping time can be adjusted according to personal preference, and the tea can be steeped multiple times continuously.
4. The best materials for teaware are clay and ceramics.
5. Water with mineral water or purified water is preferred.
STORAGE METHOD:
1. Store the tea leaves in a cool, dry place, avoiding high temperature and humidity or direct sunlight.
2. Do not let the tea leaves come into contact with moist items.
