Organic Ancient Tea Plantation
In the spring of 2003, when SARS atypical pneumonia raged across most parts of Asia, all entry had to be subject to a sensitive time of isolation, Mr. Tsai courageously took a direct flight from the United States to China, stepping closer to Yunnan, Simao, Lancang, and stationed in the Jingmai Mountain area. Lang Cang 101 Tea Plantation, a foreign enterprise, established an organic tea processing factory at Mengben, Jingmai Mt., Huimin Township, Lang Cang County, Pu’er City, Yunnan, China. We signed an exclusive contract of The Right to Use on Jingmai Mt.’s 10,000 Acres of Ancient Tea Plantation for 50 years with the local government of Lang Cang County on April, 2003. We are the leading organic tea manufacturer to receive 4 international organic certifications: USDA (America), EC889/08 (European Unions), JAS (Japan), and China.
101 Tea has repaired and rescued ancient tea gardens and systematically picked tea cyanine according to the characteristics of tea trees to accelerate the organic cycle growth of tea trees and promote the growth of new shoots. In order to live up to the reputation of a thousand-year-old tea garden, and to remove the image of “smelly puer tea” that has long been criticized internationally, our company features 100% organic products via natural environment, skillful workmanship, and eco-packaging. We use modernized equipments to meet international standards. All workers must wear dust-free clothing to avoid contamination. Procedures from keeping whole leaves off the ground, using sterilized equipment, sun-drying, to packaging materials, as we perform rigorous quality controls.
Taiwan High Mountain Tea PLANTATIONS
101 Taiwan Tea products are primarily in the high mountain regions from 3,900-5,000 feet elevation. The high mountain cloud and mist environment mixed with Taiwan’s tropical climate are ideal for producing Oolong, Black, and Green Teas. Many of the tea tree breeds in Taiwan are hybrid versions created in the Tea Research Stations. Taiwan Teas have a unique flavor because of the local terra. 101 Taiwan Teas have naturally floral, fruit, and honey overtones with a complex nature.
101 tea is made under the supervision of the Tea Improvement Field of the Agricultural Committee of the Executive Yuan and has passed the US FDA food import and export inspection and TAF inspection. Good tea that is worth letting you savor.
